I’ll start this review with a story. I had just moved into my unit at Portal—barely a week in—when I had a major delivery scheduled. Thirteen pallets were set to arrive at 2 PM, and I had my team scheduled to show up at 1 PM to unload them. Everything was planned perfectly… until the truck decided to show up at 10 AM instead. Cue the panic. I was about 30 minutes away, and my workers weren’t set to arrive for another three hours. Then I got a call from Jeff, the Manager, letting me know about the early arrival. I explained the situation, expecting to have to rush over and figure it out. Instead, Jeff simply said, “Don’t worry about it—I’ll handle it.” By the time I arrived at 11 AM, the pallets were already moved, neatly placed, and all I had to do was unload them into my unit. Jeff had taken care of it himself. That’s the kind of service and support you get at Portal. Beyond just professionalism, Jeff and the entire team truly go above and beyond to make sure your day-to-day operations run smoothly. Whether it’s their depth of knowledge, willingness to collaborate, or just the welcoming atmosphere, it’s clear they understand the needs of entrepreneurs. The facility itself is top-notch—clean, modern, and well-designed. The lounge area feels like a WeWork, providing a great space to network or get work done. Before this, I was juggling three different storage units, and switching to Portal has been a game-changer.
