Good shoe selection and prices but definitely needs handicap accessible doors. The doors are so heavy that it makes it very hard for handicap personnel to open them on their own. The isles are a good width but all the seats in the middle make it impossible for wheelchairs or wheelchair adjacent to go through them.
I am reminded today why I very rarely go into DSW. I received an email and a text message of a Labor Day sale that was allowing 20% off. I went on the website to shop the shoes that were part of the sale found a pair of shoes in the correct size and noticed it had an option for store pick up. This typically means that the shoe is in stock. I went into the store and found the shoe and proceeded to the checkout. I was initially asked for a coupon code, but there was no coupon code to be given because the shoe was included in the weekend sale. In short they would not honor the sale on their own site, nor the price. Claiming they had no way to adjust. The lesson is to avoid the store and perhaps in the near future DSW will operate as one company. And when the company makes a mistake it should not be the customers problem but the store.
