On 9/11, they did not come on time and told me they were going to be 20 minutes late for a trip to MDW. They did not even have someone assigned to me yet. I pre-booked 5 days in advance AND they charged me $29.00 for a trip that never happened. They still have not refunded my money after several calls and emails. Uber picked us up in 10 minutes and got us there on time. Don't trust Universal Taxi!

My daughter needed a ride to her high school internship, and I was nervous sending her alone. Universal gave me the driver’s info ahead of time and even followed up after the ride. The driver was very professional and put her at ease. I trust them completely.

I needed a ride from the suburbs into the city for a concert and Universal came through big time. The cab was clean, the ride was smooth, and the driver knew a shortcut that avoided all the traffic. I even made it before the opener. Will be booking them again for events.

We have been giving all of our business to Universal for 2 months while we are here working as we are from Florida and need transportation while we are here. Everyday we have this company pick us up 3 or 4 times a day. The drivers are extremely friendly and safe drivers. Whoever Micheal the dispatcher hates his job I feel sorry for that kid! Someone give him a hug, poor guy! He is very rude everytime we call. He overheard my husband saying "that guy wasn't very nice" as he was hanging up the phone and Micheal called my husbands phone back and said "What did you just say about me" SO very unprofessional!! Weve even booked rides and Micheal never sent anyone for us. When he answers we never know if anyone will even pick us up. We love this company and their drivers but Micheal you're running us off and back to uber.
