Stopped by the University of Houston with the See You At The Top Fleet, and it’s clear why this campus is a pillar of our community. UH is home to one of the nation’s leading business and law programs and has produced leaders across every industry. The energy here matches the spirit of Houston, hardworking, evolving, and future-focused. That alignment is exactly what we stand for at See You At The Top: rooted in the city while reaching for new heights. SEE YOU AT THE TOP 🚀
5 stars for the seating. UH's new (TDECU) stadium is steeper and has a much better view for the money than older venues. I wish I could watch every game from such a good vantage point. ZERO stars for the traffic to get there. No way to fix that. Add at least an extra hour to your estimate. ZERO stars for level 4 garage parking, which adds another hour to your estimate. I understood and expected a long walk to the field, but leaving the game was the worst part. Early in the 4th quarter the locals began leaving, almost in a rush. At least half the crowd was gone by the end of the game, which should have meant an easier exit for everyone. It took at least 45 minutes before the 4th floor traffic even started moving. The first two levels are probably much better. If I was doing it again, I would get there 3 hours early in order to get a lower parking space. Then just plan on eating at the on campus BBQ restaurant, which has great reviews. You have to walk right by it anyway on your way to and from the garage. Otherwise, I would just stay home.
The university campus is quite lovely, although the roads present a challenge. There is considerable construction and traffic congestion. It would be wonderful if the university could offer shuttle services and direct fares, especially for the many students residing in the southwest area.
