Pursuing my master’s in Civil Engineering at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette was a transformative experience. The program offered a strong balance of theoretical depth and practical application, with access to advanced research tools and collaborative projects. A highlight of my journey was working under Dr. Julius Codjoe, whose mentorship was both inspiring and rigorous. His guidance helped sharpen my analytical thinking and research skills, especially in transportation engineering. The faculty’s dedication, the supportive academic environment, and the university’s commitment to innovation made UL Lafayette an excellent choice for graduate studies in engineering.

I recommend that if you want to cater to disabled students with the 'UL Life Program'.. maybe be a good idea to allow guardians or assisted guardians to drop off or help the students (in-nees) without harassing them about parking fees or tickets.

The campus is beautiful and very safe, the people are friendly and hospitable and the weather is nice and warm. I loved getting my education here! The University is great, the quality of education is excellent and the professors are top-notch. There are several programs and research areas that are truly world-class. After graduating, I relocated to the north-eastern part of the US and obtained multiple job offers from Fortune 500 companies. I'm extremely happy with the way my career has progressed and owe a lot to the education I received here.
