I had an LG backup battery installed and is died within 2 years. I reached out to SEL more times then I could count. They came out but were unable to do the work because they were NOT certified anymore for LG and would reach out to another company to do the work. Emailed and emailed and rarely received answer. Nothing happened for a YEAR. Finally I reached out to a local company called SEG Solar in Grass Valley (NOT to be confused with SEL) and had a new battery installed in less than 2 weeks.

Year six since we bought the system, SEL/Jayson Lehman refused to answer our calls for help and service when the equipment went down, despite contractual responsibility. He is apparently so busy adding new business that he cannot build in time to service existing customers. Up till now, he was just hard to get hold of. Now he is simply unresponsive despite numerous attempts and a hand-delivered message through his father, a local businessman. There is no way I would recommend doing business with this person.

Like another review said, they wont return calls. They installed the solar at our house. It’s now not working properly and I’ve called and texted Jayson several times over the last couple weeks and been nice and patient each time. He will not return my call or text. Terrible customer service.
