I have been coming to this clinic since 2017 because I was a student and it’s the closest one to campus. In 2020, I noticed a sensitive spot between two teeth (let's call them Tooth 1 and Tooth 2) that would bleed whenever I flossed. For years, dentists and hygienists here consistently told me the bleeding was because I wasn’t flossing enough and that I just needed to keep flossing and the bleeding will stop. In 2023, Dr. Kim placed a crown on Tooth 1. Earlier this year, it started to hurt. She said the pain was due to an issue with Tooth 2, not the one she worked on and is actually hurting, and she wants to put a new crown on Tooth 2. It didn’t make sense to me, so I went to a different clinic for a second opinion. They found that Tooth 1, the one newly crowned by Dr Kim is decaying and requires a root canal. Also, the crown placement she did was too close to my gumline, causing gum irritation that now requires gum surgery. They also confirmed there was nothing wrong with Tooth 2, which Dr. Kim suggested needed a crown. A separate endodontist also verified this. This clinic is fine for regular cleanings and fillings, I would not recommend it if you have any serious dental issues. They failed to admit the problem caused by the crown they placed and instead, suggesting unnecessary treatment for a perfectly healthy tooth.

I used to hate going to the dentist until I started going to Dr. Fransen! She is so great, actually everyone at the clinic is really wonderful, Imene in particular is my favourite dental hygienist :) I love going to the dentist now! My husband also sees Dr. Gill at the same clinic.

Dr. Fransen is excellent. Good communicator, very kind, highly skilled. I had a crown replaced and I'm very happy with her work.
