I had an absolutely terrible experience with this property management company, and I strongly advise against using their services. The communication is horrendous, and they show zero care or respect for your business. Emily, the agent I dealt with, was completely unresponsive and unreliable. Emails were ignored, calls weren’t returned, and when I did manage to get in touch with her, she was dismissive and showed no interest in resolving any issues. To make matters worse, she doesn’t even bother to greet you in emails or have a friendly demeanor. It’s clear they have no regard for their clients’ time or concerns. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere!

I have worked with many professionals, many good, some bad, and spent time before writing this review trying to recall one that is more impressive in their domain than Ken Richardson; I quickly came to the realization that I was not able to do so. My family is involved with a fairly large piece of commercial/industrial real estate in NJ and was seeking open-ended counsel with respect to how best to leverage the asset. As I was perusing sites like LoopNet & Crexi while researching other similar buildings, Ken’s name seemed to consistently be coming up as a broker on listings and recent deals and it was clear that he had a very strong market presence, so I gave him a call on a whim. Ken projects a certain confidence in his knowledge that immediately reassured me, and he made himself available for an in person meeting at our property very quickly. We found him and his time to be extremely valuable; he provided excellent insights on our property, the market, and areas where we were clearly falling short. Of course, every broker has the goal of securing a path towards a listing or some other means of deriving personal benefit from such a meeting, but we did not feel that he made any attempt to “frame” things in such a way that would potentially be self serving, instead offering us an earnest assessment of our situation much as a consultant would. Ken also recommended a state incentive program and point of contact for free upgraded lighting throughout our property, which we were able to immediately to take advantage of to great effect. He is generous with points of contact; he has since also introduced me to banking contacts and the like. What differentiates Ken from other brokers is that he is business minded first, whereas others are broker/transaction minded exclusively. Prior to entering into the field he ran a large organization (which made use of properties like ours) for a number of years, with many people reporting to him, and he projects the persona and perspective of a business executive in a way that I feel one would be hard pressed to find from a different broker in the market. This is the attribute that separates him, in my opinion. He is able to engage with us with respect to our non-real estate business that is associated with the property, tying his understanding of the two together in a way that others who don’t really “get it,” for lack of a better term, would not be able to. He is never hesitant to offer guidance and seems to always make himself available; ultimately a business relationship with Ken would be a great asset for anyone involved with commercial real estate in this market. He will always have our business in the future.
