Macadams were assigned by the RAC to attend my breakdown. My car had a blowout and I didn't have any way of putting the spare on. Lenny attended and was absolutely first class. He was genuine and made sure he did all he could to help. After fitting the spare, I set back off on the A1 and the spare immediately exploded leaving me stranded. I called Lenny and he advised me what to do and that he would make sure he got me sorted. After logging my situation with the RAC, he contacted his office to take the job on despite it being close to the end of his shift. Lenny came back and recovered my vehicle and myself from Wetherby to Darlington before making the drive back to his home which would be approximately 90 minutes later than he would have. His technical knowledge and personal, professional approach made a challenging evening alot easier and I can't speak highly enough about him or the service from Macadams Keighley

Beware of this company. The company I took breakdown cover with Nova Direct sent someone from this company when my car wouldn't start on the evening when temperature was below 2°, he rang from a private number and left a voicemail to say he was going to be 15 minutes. When he arrived on the end of the street where i was waiting, he turned his van around and left, i was confused as to why he'd done this until he rang me again and I asked him why he left, i asked him to come back then I went to the end of the road to wait for him. I was shocked to see that he'd driven to the backstreet behind the houses of the street where i was waiting for him. It occurred to me afterwards that he did that to make it look on the tracker that he'd attended and that I wasn't there. Nova Direct issued a threat of charging me £100 callout fee if I cancelled or if I'm not present when recovery arrives. My car only needed a jump start, he put what looked like a trickle charger on my battery then told me start my car up, it worked but he said i needed a new battery and tried to sell me one for £125. After a few minutes, he told me to turn the car off, wait a few minutes then turn it back on, only it didn't work this time and didn't even make the click sound. I was annoyed that he'd damaged my battery on purpose to get me to buy the £125 one even though i told him i didn't have the money after the expense of paying for Christmas. I tried the engine again and applied the accelerator this time, it worked and I revved it to give it more power. It has been ok since. What a dishonest person he was.

Tyre blew yesterday. LV told me someone from Macadam's in Keighley would be out within 90 mins. The traffic was horrendous so I thought it might be longer but David arrived in less than half an hour. He was lovely, efficient and professional and soon had me back on the road home. Excellent service from both LV and Macadam.
