Do not take your pet here! For starters price gouging. Their rates r above the national average. Took my dog in and she was diagnosed with cancer they prescribed prednisone to treat her. Started her off on one dose a day. Went back in and the vet taking the others place told us to up it to 2 a day Big mistake! She was dead within just over a week. On our last visit there they had the nerve to peddle their care club card to help with future payments. Knowing I would be locked into paying them for a yr. Knowing she didn't have a yr! VCA is owned by the mars candy company, a giant cooperation that sees your pet as a number.
I can’t say enough good things about VCA 12 Mile Animal Hospital. My senior dog, Einstein, recently needed surgery, and the care he received was truly exceptional. From the moment we walked in, the entire team treated him with such compassion and love—it was clear they truly care about the animals they treat. Einstein is older and has been through a lot, so I was understandably nervous about the procedure. But the staff took the time to explain everything thoroughly, answer all of my questions, and made sure both Einstein and I were comfortable every step of the way. After his surgery, they continued to treat him with such gentleness and affection. He wasn’t just a patient—he was family to them. Thanks to their skilled and loving care, Einstein recovered beautifully, and I couldn’t be more grateful. I would wholeheartedly recommend VCA 12 Mile to anyone who wants top-notch veterinary care delivered with genuine heart. They’re simply amazing.
THE FIRST VISIT IS NOT FREE!!!!!! They would not see my cat unless I paid for a vaccine, which I couldn't afford. The vet tech couldn't wait for us to leave. I never leave one-star reviews and now I need to find a new vet
