I brought my dog expecting attention and transparent care, but unfortunately, my experience was not nice. I am an old client and I noticed everything changed in the past few years. I decided today to find another clinic. The prices were much higher than at other clinics I know and it’s disappointing to feel that profit came before genuine care. I would strongly recommend that anyone visiting this clinic double-checks all charges and asks for a detailed quote in advance and in writing. Sadly, I won’t be returning. Update: Dr. Vlad should listen the call recording and check the information you received from your receptionist because what you just said in the comments is absolutely not true. I travel with my dog at least twice a year and never complained about any examination fee. The complain what something totally different and the customer service received was not retributed with rudeness... it was the opposite. I just replied your receptionist with: "I will check with my sister and call back." (yes, the conversation was all about my sisters dog charges) ...the receptionist was veryyy rude to me and I sad nothing. I just politely ended the call.

I recently brought my kitten Kogi to Yonge-Davenport Pet Hospital for help managing his asthma, and I’m genuinely impressed with the care and professionalism we’ve received. First and foremost, the staff has been very honest and transparent about what tests are necessary versus what’s optional—something I really appreciated, especially when you're trying to balance care and cost. When it came to medications, particularly inhalers, they were also very fair in terms of pricing and recommendations. For context, my previous vet clinic was charging over $210 (after tax) for a puffer or $40-50+tax just for a written prescription. In comparison, Davenport charges a much more reasonable $25+tax for a written script. They also quoted me $130 plus tax for two puffers, although I suspect there may have been a mix-up and that might be the price for just one. Even if it is for one, it’s still more reasonable than what I was paying before. Everyone I’ve spoken to on the phone has been incredibly pleasant and supportive—they really seem to care about both the pets and the people. The facility itself is clean, welcoming, and well-organized.

Dr. Levinson and all the staff are amazing. While we don’t like coming to the vet clinic for obvious reasons, but when we do, it is a pleasant environment and I know my baby is in good hands while being there. Prices are a bit higher than other vets, but the service provided, and no ridiculous up-charges make up for it.

I had to bring in my dog over the weekend for an emergency (this is not my regular vet) and they gave me an appointment right away. They were very friendly at the reception as well as the Doctor was really nice and helpful. He gave me options and explained everything very thoroughly. I now am looking into make them my regular clinic
