I had an absolutely incredible stay at Viceroy Riviera Maya. The boutique feel of the property made everything feel intimate and personalized. The service was outstanding, the food was phenomenal, and the entire space was beautifully designed — nestled in the jungle, which created such a peaceful atmosphere. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and extremely comfortable. Everything from start to finish was a 10/10. I highly recommend it and can’t wait to return.

The service is phenomenal. Everyone is so courteous, hardworking, and helpful. The resort and rooms are beautiful and the food is phenomenal. The staff is the best of anywhere I’ve ever been! My only complaints are that the pillows were so soft that I struggled to get comfortable enough to sleep well. The beach had a ton of seaweed despite the staff’s incredible efforts to keep up with it. It could be the season, I’m not sure, and I certainly don’t hold nature against them.

Nice stay. Very different than a hotel as each room is a private villa nestled in the jungle. Nice amenities including the ocean front restaurant with good food and nice service on a huge outdoor patio. Only improvement I’d suggest is a map or better markings along the paths so it’s easier to find the lobby - especially at night when it can take some wandering around to get back there

We had the most incredible stay at the Viceroy in Playa del Carmen. From the moment we arrived, everything felt personalized and peaceful. The property itself is a tropical oasis—lush, quiet, and beautifully maintained. It feels like a world away, even though it’s just a short distance from the buzz of town.||What really made our trip unforgettable was the service, especially at the beach. Pepe, the beach attendant, went above and beyond every single day. Whether it was setting up the perfect lounge chairs, keeping us cool with drinks, or anticipating what we might need before we even asked, he brought warmth and care that made us feel so well taken care of. He’s a true gem.||The rooms were luxurious and private, the food was fresh and delicious, and the staff throughout the resort were consistently kind and attentive. We left feeling totally relaxed and already dreaming of our next visit.
