The whole point of outsourcing is to reduce our workload, not add to it. Some of the staff go overboard with their follow-ups—to the extent that it feels like we have to drop everything just to respond to emails about why a candidate was selected or rejected. It becomes more of a burden than a support. As business owners, we have multiple priorities, and constantly being chased for updates completely defeats the purpose of hiring external help. I understand your team might be under pressure, but that shouldn’t come at the cost of the client’s time and peace of mind. A little more professionalism and awareness from your team would make a big difference.
