We ordered the truffle omelette, avocado eggs benedict, and the pepper and carrot soup with a side of the truffle fries. The food was severely underwhelming for the price point. The truffle omelette didn't have any truffle flavour at all, and the portion size was so small that the person who ordered it was still hungry after finishing it. The cost was $24. The eggs benedict was $25, and I only noticed when seeing the ingredients now that there was truffle goat cheese in it. It was a fairly bland benny and definitely no truffle flavour. The person who ordered the soup was disappointed that it came with two of the thinnest sourdough crostinis she'd ever had served with soup. I tried a little bit of it, and it also was very underwhelming in flavour. The truffle fries were the most truffle-y tasting, but at the price of $12, you can definitely find better in many other restaurants or pubs. Honestly the pastries are beautiful, and they look delicious. That being said, I can't really justify spending 16 to 18 dollars on a 4-inch piece of cake or a tiny tart. This location is a newer-developed area, and it would be really nice to have a local, non-chain little breakfast/brunch/cafe. I just wish either the portion or quality reflected the price or vice versa. That being said, I'll give this place at least one more try in the future, but I think the fact that so many people leaving reviews with concerns over the prices is fairly telling. For the food items above and two drip coffees and a latte, we spent around $92 before any tax or tip on breakfast.

Honest review, I think it's a bit overpriced as everyone else in the reviews is stating. On my first visit, I ordered the avocado eggs benedict on croissant, and after my meal I took two pastries to go. The eggs benedict was mediocre due to the fact that the perfectly cooked eggs and Hollandaise sauce were topped on a cold stale croissant. I feel like the croissants could have been warmed up prior to the eggs being topped on. All dishes are served with a side of potato wedges, which are seasoned nicely however not a big deal. More pub food if anything. I also ordered a cappuccino which was delightful, but again overpriced. The treats I took to go included the $17.00 mango passion fruit cream thing and a tiramisu treat also priced at $17. The server placed both treats in a box to go and passed it to me, when it was handed off it dropped onto the glass display counter. I knew the treats were instantly ruined. I didn't make a fuss, but as I expected when I opened the box the 17.00 treats had both cracked and were not pleasing to the eye. I'd recommend a more careful hand off to the staff for these expensive treats... Overall I visited because I wanted to see what it was about I'm not sure if I would come back often.

Oh heck yah! This cafe just made my list of places I need to eat at monthly! The food is unreal! We initially went there for a pre lunch coffee. But after seeing the desserts on display we HAD to get brunch! Boy am i glad we did. The food was top notch!! While eating we noticed a constant flow of people coming in getting loaves of bread and taking them to go. How could we not buy some bread! We took home some sourdough to make sandwiches.... UNREAL bread makes unreal homemade sandwiches! We will be back! Thank you!!

Decided to try their deserts 🤤 and wasn't disappointed at all. It isn't just nicely presented it does taste amazing! I found a bit to the pricey side for the sizes, but as a treat once in a while it's worth.
