Customer experiences
Myself and my wife got married at this venue in June and it was phenomenal. We had exclusive hire of the hotel for the duration of our stay having booked through a UK wedding company (Ionian Weddings) and it did not disappoint. The rooms themselves are great, clean and with air con. The pool is amazing and we were pleasantly surprised by the prices of the drinks from the cafe/bar area. Great food and staff, our guests loved it as well, and we can't recommend it enough.
My niece and her Italian husband picked this location as part of an "Italy grand tour" and I just couldn't believe it ... as I told them, "it's like a fairy tale!" The rooms were very good, the breakfast excellent, and the location just beyond compare with the farmlands, the ancient church, the castle ... and the swimming was an unusual but wonderful bonus. The room rate was surprisingly low. I'm not one to revisit places I've visited before but this one I'm definitely coming back to.
We just got married here (10.10.2024) and are blown away with how amazing this place is. The rooms are lovely and clean, the food was incredible, and the staff were attentive, going above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, and we all had what we needed. The venue itself is so beautiful and peaceful, the whole place made the wedding experience incredible and many guests commented how impressed they were with the place. I recommend staying here to enjoy the scenery, surroundings and the food!! Even just pop here for the restaurant to taste the amazing food. |Thank you so much for an amazing few days 💖
We stayed here for a family wedding recently and had a brilliant time. The rooms are a good size and have a little kitchenette. There is a restaurant that serves food, snacks, drinks, coffee etc. throughout the day. All the food was lovely, esp. the pizza dinner the night before the wedding and the wedding dinner itself. The surroundings are just beautiful and the abbey is super close too.
Volaterra is a coffee shop.
