My wife’s 2015 Toyota Prius AC would works and the randomly not work, called up Japanese auto services to see how much a AC recharge/inspection would cost, spoke to Ross, was quoted $60. Cake there, took about 20min and Ross had the AC recharged and fixed, found out that it was overfilled on Freon, emptied it out, refilled it from scratch. AC is good as new now! Will definitely recommend and come back! (Also not sure why there are so many negative reviews… but my experience with them was super nice, professional, and fast, don’t be afraid and give them a visit, won’t regret it)
Do not trust this business. The iwner, Faris (Ross) straight up stole my car. I brought my suburban in in September 2025. Was told that the engine was blown and it was not worth fixing. He offered me $250 for parts. I had a bad feeling based on a couple other sketchy dealings on other cars I had i brought in and decided to get a second opinion. Lo and behold he informed it was just the radiator needed replaced for $600. He also admitted to me he was driving it to and from work. Then he coaimed someone had attempted to steal the vehicle from his residence, breaking the window and punching the ignition. He assured me he woukd not charge me for those repairs. Because of personal reasons I was unable to pick up the car for a month or so. When I tried to make arrangements to pick up, he insisted he would bring it to my house. Four days in a row he had an excuse for not showing up. I went to his shop on 5th day and set my phone to record. He was not there. The mechanic on duty phoned him, got no answer, then phoned the mechanic he was with. The mechanic is heard on the recording saying "We just had to punch the ignition and steal the car back". I met with Ross same day and was assured he would make repairs and deliver car to me same day. 2 days passed with excuse that the windows hadn't come in, followed by him asking if we had picked up the car. He then claimed it must have been stolen from their lot conveniently parked out of camera view. He then filed a stolen car report. An arrest was made couple weeks later of Nicole Klemstein who coincidentally he happens to be friends with on Facebook. I was called to testify in front of grand jury only to be told they will not be be pursuing charges because the mechanic, Ross testified he had given her permission to drive the car, which she had been driving for over a month. It cost me $900 to get out of impound and $1000 to repair windows and punched out ignition. I have left messages with sheriff who initially took stolen car report to pursue criminal action against Ross, but have not received call back.
RESCUED ME AND SAVED CHRISTMAS!!! Yesterday (Christmas Day) I got stranded on Highway 26 when my car died and wouldn't start again. I couldn't get ahold of anyone for help and didn't know what to do. That's when a Christmas miracle named Ross pulled up to see if I needed help and literally saved my day. Long story short Ross runs Japanese Auto Services in Aloha. Ross got my car a tow to his repair shop (which was closed for the holiday btw), personally worked on my car (on Christmas) and got me back on the road in less than 90 minutes. But that's not even the best part... HE DIDNT CHARGE ME A DIME!!! FOR ANYTHING!!! When I asked how much I owed him I expected the bill to come to just under a fortune considering the roadside rescue and repairs he did were on a major holiday. But he just handed me my keys, said it was on the house, and wished me a very Merry Christmas. I'm still in shock and don't know how to thank Ross enough for his kindness and generosity but I do know that Japanese Auto Services is the only place I will take my car for service and I will send everyone I know there too. THANK YOU SOOO MUCH ROSS AT JAPANESE AUTO SERVICES!!!
