I have been craving oysters ever since I came back from Boston. I was pleasantly surprised with how large they are at Waterfront. I also enjoyed the taste of them. Unfortunately, I think that was the best part of my experience here. There was nothing wrong with the service, our servers were actually very kind and attentive. As for the restaurant, everything was so sticky and did not feel clean, no matter how much I kept wiping the table. The other items that we ordered were just "eh." I think I would come back for their half-priced oyster deal on the weekends.

Wonderful service - servers we attentive and funny. Food was good but not great. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not that I didn’t like it it’s just a way to go before it’s 5 stars. The clam chowder was perfectly thick but lacked flavor (and clams). The seafood salad had very little “crab” and a couple tiny shrimp. The rest of the salad was fresh greens and veggies. One last thing, the low ceiling keeps the fryer oil smell in tact all over the restaurant.

Not what is expected. Was really looking forward to the walleye. But it was disappointing with a bland flavor. The asparagus was wilted and flavorless as well. Even the waiter appeared uninterested.

I always, always, always come here with my Mom and it WAS a great place and I always let them know that.. but this time, the host on 9/23/25 was not nice, pretty rude, which the other hosts are usually very nice. I guess he was having an off day.. We overlooked that, which in restaurants you shouldn't have to cause that's what keeps us coming back and giving you business is not only the food, but the nice service as well, even if it's not a nice day, but it wasn't cool being rude to my Mom.. We got home with our food and noticed some of our rolls didn't have the right amount of sushi in them, once again. I paid for 2 Caterpillar rolls for my Mom (for 12 each @ 15.95), she only got 10 each. Not only that, was the sushi super dry.. it kept falling apart, crunchy and not soft like it normally is, there was no flavor either.. Called to let them know that I didn't need a refund, just needed them to know that I'm kind of tired being shortaged sushi that I clearly pay for on your site, and he didn't offer an apology or any type of sympathy. He only said to my Mom "I guess I should correct it online then" so cold heartedly. Yeah, you should've realized that already, but you keep giving me less for what I've already paid for. Unfortunately, this'll be our last time coming here, if it even matters cause it did to us.
