Nice warm, clean and comfortable place to stay. We went late in the season so the kitchen was closed but Brenda was super nice and gave us a Microwave so we could heat our food.||The Room and Washroom was very clean and comfortable and the propane fireplace really keeps the place toasty. The property is nice and large and a great view of the lake.||P.S. We are from the Peninsula and didn't really need the GPS, but used Google Maps nonetheless for the last stretch after the Berford Street turnoff and it got us there perfectly!

Stayed for two nights. The room was very clean, updated, and spacious. We really enjoyed our stay. Even though we didn’t do any of the activities on the resort, the property is well laid out and lots to do around the property! The staff were very welcoming, friendly, caring, and compassionate towards their guests! The only downside was the room did “not” have blackout curtains or a security latch on the “inside” of the door to give us that extra sense of privacy or security!

Owner was pleasant. Clean rooms. Bed was comfortable. In room coffee was awful. Had to run shower couple of minutes before hot water came on. Very close to family so location was perfect. Great view.

Loved this little resort. Upon arrival, the staff was very friendly and check in was fast. Our room was very clean, the bed was super comfy, and the bathroom was fairly large with updated fixtures. We had a private deck with a hot tub that looked out onto the bay. We did take a stroll down to the beach area to watch the spectacular sunset, which was very nice. There are several areas to picnic and a small gazebo. |Overall, we enjoyed our stay, it was designed to be a getaway from the city and this resort was on point. |One thing, there is nowhere to get a coffee or other beverage within walking distance. We found ourselves driving into town several times to grab little things, and to have meals, but not really a big deal, it gave us a chance to see Wiarton.
