Over the years, through the purchasing and selling of our properties, we have met with many realtors. Our interactions with Michael McKenna and his team was pleasurable, seamless and made selling our home the best experience it can possibly be. We began to work with Michael in the context of putting our home on the rental market. Our situation was stressful due to personal circumstances, but Michael was immensely patient with our seemingly endless questions. Eventually, we decided to sell our home, and Michael and his team were very understanding with changes in our plans and put the house on the market in record time. The process of selling was extremely smooth. Since we were traveling internationally, Michael kept us informed about offers in a timely manner, was diligent in ensuring that we considered all the benefits of each offer and advised us how to make the correct decision, always keeping our interests in mind. At closing, we had additional questions and Michael was always available to address them and provide the answers. Realtors can sometimes multitask on behalf of their clients but Michael took this activity to another level. Because we were traveling internationally, our move included complex instructions for many items from the house that were either gifted to friends or sold. Michael was diligent in coordinating all these efforts on our behalf and even helped when individuals needed to visit the home and pick up items, after we had vacated our home. Michael went out of his way to ensure that several items left behind were given away to charity. In fact, he personally coordinated the dropping off of items to the local charity and sent us tax receipts. One cannot wish for a better selling realtor than Michael McKenna and the entire team at McKenna and Vane. If we ever need to buy another home in Maryland, we know exactly whom to call when the time comes.
