Weigh To Go

Thank you for averting a mini drama with your stain removal bar. ✨️ This morning, while in a Zoom meeting, I managed to cover my pink lambswool jumper (and my face!) with pen ink. Your stain removal bar has worked a treat this evening. (Your soap worked on my face this morning ☺️) Thank you for the best products. 😘

So grateful for this very wonderful place in Edinburgh, that not only evokes such a solid sense of community, but sells a brilliant array of refill staples as well as special treats. You'll be met with sincere warmth from genuine folk who take the time to chat; I always feel so cheered up after a trip to Weigh to Go. Notable also for the best customer service I could possibly ever have received: this shop literally saved my dogs life. After she got into some refill dark chocolate chips I had stupidly left within paw's reach, I wasn't sure how much she had eaten and thus how serious a threat the toxicity was. Initially I tried to brush it off as 'probably not that much', but fortunately anxiety got the better of me and we called up WtG to see if they might have any record of how many grams of the chocolate we had purchased. They so kindly went through all of the days receipts and were able to give us an exact amount (A LOT) which we then rushed off to the emergency vets with. They went above and beyond and even further still. Thank you Lucy and team (including the other kind person we often see whose name I can't remember!)

I feel so lucky that we were gifted this such cute independent shop! I used to go all the way up to the meadows on argyle place to refill groceries in my own containers and now we are given this opportunity to shop organic, local, waste free and plastic free in Leith i am just super happy!! Been shopping here since the opening and have always felt welcomed and helped by every one that works here. I almost always buy coffee ☕️, dried fruits, 🥥🍌🥭, nuts 🌰 🥜, beans, spices, noodles 🍜, medjool dates, hand gel, laundry liquid, fabric conditioner, freshly pressed peanut butter with no additives (I get mine crunchy but they also serve smooth one). When it’s not sold out they often have handmade vegan chocolate truffles that are to die for, and you can refill your containers to the quantity you want/ need so you don’t pay for what you don’t need and can live waste- free. They take cash and card, there’s a bus from town to the bottom of Leith walk few meters up by the pharmacy that’s quite handy and they’re open every day. All for sustainability and trying to sell as many tasty products as possible from UK or at least Scottish suppliers around. Such a good shop when it comes to quality, cleanliness (great hygiene and handling of covid crisis since the beginning and to this date!) and awesome customer service 💯 Thank you 👌
