I want to start by saying that both the stylist and her assistant were nice during the little interaction I had, and this review is based solely on my experience with the service itself. I booked an appointment for a blowout ahead of my engagement photos, expecting a smooth, professional experience, especially given the positive reviews. Unfortunately, it didn’t go as I had hoped. When I arrived, I was checked in by the front desk lady, who told me to head to the back for a wash. To my surprise, she ended up washing my hair herself, and the wash felt rushed and incomplete. I was then taken to a styling chair but still hadn’t seen or spoken to the actual stylist. When she finally came out, she seemed surprised that I was only there for a blowout. She then left again, and without any communication, her assistant began blow-drying my hair. At this point, I was confused and frustrated. I had specifically booked a blowout with the stylist and was paying a premium price, yet I wasn’t told that someone else would be doing most of the work. My hair, which is naturally wavy, was not properly blow-dried and ended up looking frizzy and puffy, far from the smooth, styled look I had requested and shown in reference photos. The stylist returned only for the final 10-15 minutes to quickly curl my hair with a wand. While it looked okay at the time, the curls didn’t hold, and as I feared, my hair ended up looking undone and messy during my actual engagement shoot. Additionally, when I booked the appointment, I made sure to mention that I have long hair, so they could provide an accurate price estimate. I agreed to the quoted cost, but on the day of the appointment, I was charged more without any explanation or prior notice. I expected clear communication, professional service, and results that reflected what I paid for. Sadly, I didn’t receive that, and I left feeling disappointed. I hope this feedback helps the salon improve the experience for future clients.

I had a haircut and style by Amber. She was so great. She took great care to understand what I wanted, offer suggestions and to make sure we were on the same page. My hair is thick and can’t be done well in a hurry. She took her time ensuring that it looked and felt great. Besides being talented at her craft she was incredibly pleasant, approachable, and easy to talk to. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a new stylist.
