West Street Willy's Eatery

We visited this Western restaurant in Goldridge after seeing its high Google reviews. There were three of us, and they do have a menu with kids’ options, which was convenient. The service was fairly quick, and the atmosphere inside felt relaxing, giving off a nice laid-back vibe. The food itself was okay — not bad, but portions weren’t very generous. The highlight for me was definitely the fries; they were extra crunchy and really tasty. Service overall was just average, nothing exceptional. Overall, I’d give it four stars. A decent spot if you’re in the area, with a pleasant environment and some good bites.

Looking for a quick bite in Goderich and found this little gem off of the town square. Nice atmosphere, very homey, and you can eat outside if the weather is nice, on a very comfortable patio off the street, allowing you to people watch. The food is not fancy but just darn good. I had a roast beef Reuben (?), yes, and it was very good. Caesar salad to start which was quite well put together. My wife had a stir fry which she said was very good. The wait staff are helpful and congenial. We would definitely go back.

I had the butchers burger with a side of smoky Mac and cheese. The burger is obviously of butcher quality (from nearby Shanahan's). It had a nice "bite" to it. Just the right amount of char. Fantastic burger. The smokey mac is worth the upgrade, you can taste the smoke as an under-flavor that doesn't overpower. We also had the taco salad, which was no doubt prepared with care, generously portioned (including the cheese and protein), and the flavor was "bang on" she says.
