Without a doubt the best work we have had done. We needed to add some lighting to our sport court. The team brought in licensed electricians to add electricity to the court and it looks amazing. I think it looks better than it did as they put everything back and even better. I will use them any time I need their amazing service!

In February I had Vince out to look over my project. We determined they'd remove my old yard, install new irrigation lines, sprinklers, valves, lay sod, and move my timer box. Day 1 the subcontracted foreman left after 30 minutes. Around 2pm it was clear the men weren't going to finish removing the sod, so I offered help. They obliged and then complained about their boss and how little they made. They did, however, have enough to buy beer and drink them on the job. They told me they'd be back next day. They only grabbed the cutter and left. Next day we get a knock to a new worker to dig the trenches. Day 4 unannounced, 2 others show up to do pipe and sprinklers. They had zero guidance from Western Skies as the foreman never showed. Day 5- 2 guys and the foreman come to lay the turf with no care to the dirt or the sprinklers. In one corner the grass tapered off the preset edge and a few sprinkler heads were too low. Instead of fixing it, they dropped the turf down to the sprinkler, leaving dips in my yard. The foreman acknowledged the mistakes. Day 6 finished laying the grass and addressed the errors. Reviews with Vince and Markus proved disappointing as they seemed happy with the job amidst my concerns. After 3 weeks of watering, I walked the yard finding EVERY trench had collapsed! The yard was a total mess. 2 guys from Western Skies came to address the trenches, leaky valves, and undersized box. They had to cut up the box so it would fit. After guys fixed the leak, they left a sprinkler zone running, flooded the yard and the valve box. I inspected the site, saw the broken box, stone edging placed back down haphazardly, and how the entire yard looked. Vince said they'd done their best and "they can't please everyone". I requested a meeting with all owners. With a list of outstanding items, they came out to see the progress. They set up days for guys to work. I was surprised to see the men who previously messed up my yard! I'd been told they fired them. Vince assured me they'd be fine. They were to add dirt to trenches and other marked areas. Vince got them going, said he'd be back in 15 minutes, and never returned. When it appeared the guys were done, I re-laid flags in areas that had been untouched. Josh, a co-owner, came by and had them lay more dirt and the foreman brushed the sand down at my request as they almost left the sand disheveled around the yard. They left multiple sprinklers buried. I was shocked they didn't check their work and disappointed I missed it before Josh left. He did acknowledge the valve box and had John come to redo it all so that 2 boxes would work. I took him around the yard to inspect the job. He pointed out some errors. A week later, I'm hopeful to see John back to work on the yard to find out he'd been fired. Others came to address those issues. They got through most of the list but had to leave early. I called on July 1 to get in touch with Josh. 11 days later, I had to call again. I was told they were happy with the job, how it turned out, and they back the work. Job incomplete as of July 12th, they said they were done and wouldn't be coming back. I'd made it clear that I had standards to which I wanted this job done. Vince said he could do it. He didn't. Western Skies only did the minimum. Unfortunately, Western Skies couldn't find the talent to get this job done to any kind of standard. I have 3 sprinkler heads buried and a yard that looks and feels years old; not 4 months. I should've inquired more into the estimate outlining the work. It had no details of work to be performed. Unfortunately, I paid in full prior to ensuring the work was done. The shortcomings of the job were only known after watering when it was assumed the work was done. I've never dealt with a company this disconnected. They spoke how wonderful the yard looked and how proud they were of it. Western Skies, I wanted to work this out, gave multiple tries and each time the job was made worse or new problems created. Today, work ethic is low and leadership scant. I was hoping Western Skies would be the exception.

They transformed my front yard by installing pavers, turf, rocks and a complete irrigation system efficiently. Their craftsmanship met expectations. I recommend their services.
