I had such high hopes when I found Ace Handyman Services, who promised no job is too big or too small. I had exterior caulking/sealing work and some dry rot wood replacement/repair needs as cited in a home sale inspector's report that my buyer wanted corrected prior to the closing, with a 3 week time window for completion of the work. While the front office girls were cordial and efficient, nothing that happened after scheduling my work appointment went well from there. I wondered at the time why they wouldn't send an estimator out, but instead quoted the work off the inspection report I sent them along with pictures of the areas needing attention. They quoted 4 hours of work at $639. I thought the price reasonable if it would be taking care of all the items that were noted in the report as needing attention. I called to schedule an appointment on a Monday morning, with Ace telling me they would be out that Friday for the work. They were a no show when Friday came and after calling them, they promised to send someone right out. BUT, that worker's truck broke down and I was contacted for a reschedule for the next morning, Saturday, at 8:30 a.m. The worker finally showed up, and did minimal caulking, and replaced a wood piece over the top of two windows. He couldn't locate the paint in the garage, and was told to skip the painting finish work after he contacted me. The worker said it would take several more hours of work to do the siding replacement needed for several boards over my garage door. I ended up with a bill of $639 for no more than 2 hours of work, and a significant portion of the work left and still needing to be completed before a 7/29 deadline. No thanks to Ace Handyman Services for mis-quoting the job and delaying my ability to get the work completed for several weeks. Happy to report if you want a contractor who will take care of you, call John at Brogan Painting and Remodeling! Stay clear of Ace Handyman Services as their business model for quoting a job over the phone is flawed, and you run the risk of getting a bogus number for the work you're trying to get done, with cost overages and scheduling delays likely. Sorry, Ace. Epic fail!

Joe and Shawn did deck repair for me! They were outstanding and went above and beyond to make sure my deck was exactly how I wanted!!! I would not hesitate to call them out for more work at my home!!! You will not be disappointed 😊😊 I give them 20 ⭐️

There were 6 cedar posts that needed wood rot repair and Bondo sealant. Not all of the posts were done, wood rot was missed and not repaired and none of the seems where cedar was replaced were flush or sealed well with the Bondo. The flat areas where the Bondo was applied was not smoothed or sanded appropriately. One of the boards that was to be painted was missed and there was wood and debris left under our deck. This was not the quality we have come to expect from ACE Hamdyman services. We are long time customers. We have discussed and sent pictures to Chris Cooper and he is working with us to get the job fixed.

This group did an amazing job on my bathroom remodel and fireplace remodel! Our previous contractor had left us hanging after my husband had done all the demolition on our master bathroom. I contacted Lauri and she and her team got started right away! Moving plumbing, moving walls, running electrical, tile, installing shower, vanity, soaker tub, toilet. They removed the outdated fireplace front and shiplapped and tiled it. The guys all showed up on time, worked hard, were very knowledgable, and were professional. I am a very picky person and their attention to detail was GREAT! I enjoyed working with them. My team consisted of Chris, Frank, Jeremy, Daniel, Jon. I would highly recommend them and won't hesitate to call them again!
