What a lovely spot! Visited earlier in the year and had such a lovely time! All the staff are so welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable! Bought quite a few plants and visited the cafe. The cafe is obviously very, very popular. It's quirky with all the mismatched furniture and spotlessly clean. Good selection of cakes and divine cheesecakes! The staff in there are lovely and were happy to check out my intolerances. So nice to have someone come round later to ask if everything is okay too! Called in again last week as I wanted to see what their Christmas display would be like! O!M!G! I was not disappointed! Fabulous!!!! Worth visiting just to look at that! There was everything you could ever want! And the lady in that department was so friendly! Good parking! Wheelchair friendly Dog friendly - even in the indoor entrance way tables for the cafe. Would I recommend it - definitely Would I revisit - absolutely.

It's a lovely drive into the countryside to get to Whitegates. There is ample parking. Mainly rough ground. The garden centre has a wealth of different styles of plants, both indoors and outdoors. The prices are on a par with other garden centres I have visited in the area. The cafe is well worth a visit. We had a short wait for a table to become available. Once shown to our seat, the staff couldn't do enough to help. It speaks volumes for the reputation of the cafe when a queue is in evidence on a Tuesday lunchtime. The cafe is by no means small. The menu is quite extensive. We chose one of the specials. Our meals were soon placed in front of us. Such is the detail and care taken by the cafe, the plate holding the salad was cool. The bowl for the jacket potato with chili con carne was nicely warm. The food was hot and very tasty. Again prices are on a par with other similar establishments. A very pleasant lunch. Nice one.

A fabulous afternoon tea with my friends to celebrate my birthday. The staff were extremely attentive and accommodating. The tea was delicious and we certainly needed our doggy bags. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and we’ll certainly be returning.

What a wonderful nursery. Great selection of the best quality plants around & more reasonably priced than most other ants sold in the area. The plants are magnificently maintained. Not a single leaf put of place on any of the greenhouses. Restaurant is always busy. Biggest issue is there is so little choice for vegetarians, so we settled for a plate of chips & sweet potato chips. Only other thing was a curry. Even the cakes were 99% unsuitable. The flapjack was however delicious, so too the cuppas.
