Penelope has been coming to Pickering Animal Hospital since she made me a fur mom. Over the years I've always been so happy with the dedication, care, and deep love the staff and doctors have for Penelope and all pets. They treat them like they are they're own, and I think that's pretty special. I remember being amazed at how Dr. Susan would get down on the floor with Pen, playing with her while doing her assessment. Pickering Animal hospital has become a place she gets excited to visit, and it's definitely because of the staff. Recently Penelope had a full day visit for a dental surgery / cleaning. It's reassuring to drop your baby off for surgery when you know the team is competent, caring and will treat her like they're own. The observation during her stay, recommendations for recovery and the next day check in call, made a stressful situation easier. They are also very reasonable with the cost of teeth extraction, if they are already very loose. I've read some other reviews where people mention driving out of the city to come here, and i just wanted to validate that choice. No matter where we have lived in toronto/durham, we have always prioritized and felt it was worth it making the drive. The care and love for your animal is unmatched!

The staff here are 100% amazing. They are calm, patient and understanding. I find them very knowledgeable, and gives guidance when needed. I have never had a problem when it comes to emergencies, they try to incorporate regular appointments and emergencies in the same day. If they are not able to accommodate, they give recommendations. Plus their fees do not appear to be over the top. Thank you to the whole team for helping me take care of my pup Elvis!

I’ve been a loyal customer for a number of years. I love that they always provide me options and make sure I’m very educated with those options. I’ve used them for Shadow, Ringo, Chase and now Bogey and Gunner. So yes, a very loooooong history! Thank you for keeping my pups strong and healthy!
