I selected Whitney Roofing to replace my roof based on recommendations from friends. The process started off well, and I was pleased with the communication and support from the Project Manager during the early stages of the project. However, midway through the installation, concerns began to arise. After day one of what was planned as a two-day project (which ultimately extended to three), I conducted a personal inspection and discovered that the existing staples and nails had not been properly removed or hammered down prior to installing the new underlayment. This oversight led to numerous punctures in the new underlayment, which could have compromised the longevity and performance of the shingles. To their credit, Whitney Roofing did address the issue, but the resolution required a significant amount of my personal time and effort — over 15 hours spent on my own roof to oversee and personally remove staples/nails. Additionally, the promised post-installation walkthrough did not occur as outlined. Instead, someone arrived at my property during working hours, took photos, and later emailed me a form to sign off as if an in-person walkthrough had taken place. I genuinely hope my experience is an exception and not indicative of a broader pattern. However, based on this project and lack of follow up communication thus far, I cannot currently recommend Whitney Roofing. I would welcome the opportunity to speak directly with the owner to share my experience in more detail and ensure these issues are not repeated for future customers.

We contacted Whitney Roofing due to hail damage to our roof. They were very communicative and professional throughout the entire process and worked with me as well as my insurance company. Their crew was great and made sure our lawn and landscaping was protected during the tear off process and cleaned up when they were done. Would highly recommend to anyone!
