I would absolutely not recommend Wichita fix it. We hired Steve and his guys to come smooth out our textured walls. They showed up a month after our scheduled appointment and never informed us they were running behind until we finally texted them to ask where they were. They absolutely destroyed our home. For some reason they were using my bathtub to clean their tools. They clogged my drain and broke my faucet. Correct me if I’m wrong but contractors should not be using my home bathroom to clean their tools! They left mud all over my light switches, door handles, floor and front screen door. I understand messes happen doing this kind of thing but clean up after yourself. Finally they tell me the job is done and I go to look at it and they textured over our ALREADY textured walls and on top of that they textured our ceiling. We told Steve this is not what we agreed on and he laughed and said “Are you kidding” he then told me “He had a hard time blaming himself” so we told him they would not be getting paid until it was fixed. Steve had one of his guys smooth it all out and he did the worst possible job it was definitely rushed. We pointed out things that need to be fixed and Steve said “Go ahead and paint it all and if you see anything else that needs to be fixed we will come back and fix it” Why would I want to paint 4 rooms for them to come back make a mess again and me have to paint again! Steve charged us 2k and now we will spend time fixing it ourselves.

Oct 2020 update: another job well done by the Fixit team. Steve and crew repaired and painted the walls and ceilings of my basement, transforming it into a much more desirable space. Quality work at a very reasonable price. I don’t often write reviews but my experience with Wichita Fixit was so positive that I feel compelled to share with others. Steve is truly awesome to work with. He took care of many little things around my house including such things as changing out a light switch to a dimmer, adding a door closure to a storm door, installing curtain rods, hanging pictures, fixing a sprinkler line that had been cut. He also figured out a solution and created a shade cover for my deck that works perfectly. His prices are extremely reasonable and I will definitely be calling on him again.

Wichita Fix It has done several jobs for me. He's remodeled my bathroom and kitchen. They look beautiful! I've had so many compliments on the work. He has also installed a triple pane picture window and a patio door and they looks gorgeous. Steve is so wonderful to work with. He has done top notch jobs for me in the past and I am looking forward to the work I will have him do in the future. I've given his name to many of my friends and several have used him and is very pleased with his work. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing work done in their home.

If you need remodeling or handyman work done, I highly recommend Steve at Wichita Fix It. I had an attempted break in at my house and I left a message for him at 4 am about fixing my door. He and his crew arrived before noon the same day and super fortified my door and lock. He also did a great job on my bathroom remodel last year. He does great work and is an awesome guy. Please send some work his way!
