We went to Wickies Pub with my family while we were in town for a hockey tournament, and it was such a great experience. There were five of us, and our server Tamara was absolutely fantastic — so friendly, always on top of refills, and genuinely made sure we had everything we needed. The reviews are not exaggerating about the portion sizes, especially the fish and chips. One of the biggest and best servings I’ve seen in my life! My friend ordered the jumbo stuffed Yorkshire and it was massive and delicious. The teen boys had the steak (Saturday special) and it was cooked perfectly. I had the shrimp tacos — super fresh, full of flavour, and I loved the salsa. Wickies was the perfect place for us to relax, enjoy a great meal, and unwind after busy tournament days. Amazing food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back if we’re ever in town again!

Felt like the local watering hole. 4 older gentleman yelling and swearing and carrying on at the bar the entire meal and bartender was letting them disrupt the whole restaurant. Haddock was undercooked and slimy, fries were grease filled. Wings were ok. Not a place to bring your girlfriend for date night or kids for a weekend dinner. Won't be back. Lots of other restaurants in Barrie that have better pub food.. Price was also high for the quality. Disappointing for sure.

We had such a great experience at Wickies, thanks to Tanya! She was our server and bartender, and honestly, she made the whole visit unforgettable. Tanya is one of those rare people who radiates positivity - always smiling, upbeat, and genuinely happy to be there. She was super quick with our orders, checked in at just the right times, and made us feel completely at home, like part of the family. You can tell she loves what she does, and it shows in every interaction. If you’re visiting Wickies, definitely ask for Tanya - she’s the best!

Came here for dinner before heading to the back room for a Euchre tourney. Great staff, great food, clean restroom and the food is amazing. Fair warning, if you want fish and chips, bring an appetite. I can warn you but your eyes are still going to widen when they set your plate in front of you. Tip your server generously, they deserve it.
