Purchased some Creuset mugs believing they were the 0.35L mugs because the heading reads “.35 L MULTI COLOR PASTEL COFFEE MUG - SET OF 4”. When they arrived, they were the larger, 0.4L mugs, and when I spoke to the customer service rep (Kyle) he told me that the 0.35L was a “serving size”. There was no way for me to know that, and besides, I already own a number of the Creuset 0.35L mugs, also purchased some time ago from Williams. When I explained to the rep that there as no way for me to have known, he told me that if I had scrolled down on the online description, I would have seen that the mugs were, in fact 0.4L. He went on to say that these 0.4L mugs “look totally different” from the 0.35L ones (because of that little lip on the rim which, to my eyes, is not enough to make them look “totally different”). When I tried to explain to him that the header reads 0.35L and so why would I think anything else, he rudely answered, “Well, I could say the same thing back to you”, with regard to my not having seen the product description which differs from the header. And while he did offer to send me a return label for a refund, it’s way too much hassle at this point and I don’t want to risk anything happening to the ceramics during the return. It’s too bad that the whole experience has had to be such a negative one, as I’m usually quite satisfied with Williams—but for this one encounter. At any rate, buyer beware: these are not the 0.35L mugs even though that is what is plainly advertised.

I’m a new customer and was really impressed! I ordered a Demeyere saucepan listed as a B-stock/open box item and was pleasantly surprised by what I received — it looked brand new. Definitely worth the price, especially since I would’ve paid a lot more elsewhere. I’ll be honest, I was a bit reluctant to order after reading a few reviews mentioning long delivery times and unsatisfactory customer service, but for the price, I figured it was worth the risk. I’m so glad I went ahead, because to my suprise, I recieved an email a few hours later with the tracking number and estimated delivery for the next day and surely it did arrive on time. Overall, a great first experience with Williams. Fast service, great prices, and the product exceeded my expectations. I’ll definitely consider Williams again for future kitchen supplies.
