Excellent place to get Santa photos. Just walk in. No line up. The photographer was friendly. After Santa photos the Fantasy Fair is a fun place for young kids. The rides were perfect for a 3 year old. The giant play gym is probably more appropriate for ages 4 and up. I will start coming here for my annual Santa photos.
A very strange mall. I am sure that this mall used to be amazing, but now all that’s left is a building that has some stores left with a few lights working and the ones that do are flashing. Several of the dinosaurs look like they had a chunk taken out of them. When I was there, there were few rides running. The fountain by the elevator was empty and the only water in it is from the roof leaking. There are interesting signs talking about future expansions and upgrades and then there are signs pointing towards Sears… most of the restaurants are closed which is sad.
Still a stress free go to outing for the family and kids. Most of the popular rides, such as the spinner, and drop zone were not working, but kids made the best of it by riding repeatly the other rides. Staff was friendly and helpful.
I've been to Woodbine Fantasy Fair a couple of times, but this time, I came back after about 6 years, and I saw some rides were still not working! We enjoyed our time there, and my kids loved it, but I expected more maintenance of this fabulous place. I felt like it was neglected! Although it is old, this is the only big amusement park in Toronto. With a manageable investment, it can be the best, it has the potential to be. I hope they do something for this wonderful place. All the decorations, dinosaurs, animals and designs were wonderful when it was opened 50 years ago. That was a unique place at that time and is still amazing. When you step into the park, it gives you a good feeling like Pinocchio in wonderland. I still recommend Woodbine Fantasy Fair to those who have kids. The rides are still fun for them, especially to escape the cold weather in the wintertime. I visited this park at Christmas time, and the vibes were so good with Christmas songs and decorations.
