My massage was great but the spa has went downhill. The first thing you notice when you open the door to the relaxation room is like getting hit with a brick wall of stench mold and mildew. It was like this when I was there 3 months ago and nothing has been done about it. There is still black mold on the ceiling returned grill and smell is overbearing. The girls rarely come through anymore to ask if you need anything. The wine has definitely been down graded. The shower is not clean. The trash is overflowing in to the toiletries. This used to be the best pace to go in Charleston, but it definitely needs attention. Especially the musty, moldy relaxation lounge.

Life has been a little overwhelming and stressful lately, so my visit to Woodhouse Spa today was exactly the kind of reset I needed—and I’m so grateful I booked with Chelsea. I came in for a hydrafacial, and she made the entire experience feel so much more personal and restorative. What I really appreciated was how attentive Chelsea was throughout—never rushed, always focused on the little details, and adjusting the treatment to what my skin needed. I left not only with glowing skin but also feeling lighter, more relaxed, and genuinely cared for. Her kindness and professionalism are rare, and she’s truly the reason I’ll be coming back to Woodhouse. If you’re considering a hydrafacial here, do yourself a favor and book with Chelsea! 🧖‍♀️🥂

I had the best time here! Lynn did an incredible job during my massage but truly every employee went above and beyond. We booked the private room and would highly recommend doing so if you are celebrating a special event. The entire experience was so wonderful and I can’t wait to come back soon!

My boyfriend and I visited the Mt. Pleasant location for the head to toe relaxation packages. We live in Nashville and usually visit the woodhouse locations there. Our massages and facials were wonderful, the mimosas were delicious, and they gave us some complimentary truffles since we were celebrating our anniversary! The only thing I can think of to improve guest experiences would be to dim the lights in the pedicure room. Another thing to note: when I initially called in to schedule our visit the first girl we talked to was very short and told us we wouldn’t be able to schedule that package at the same time for the day we wanted. We told her we wanted to think about it, so we called back a few minutes later and talked to a different girl who told us we could get everything scheduled the day we needed no issue. So it seems like experiences here really just depend on who you get on the phone/for your service. All that to say, I think there are some things they can improve on but I would definitely be back! We left feeling brand new!
