An early learning centre like no other! Both my children love going to Headland Montessori School. With great sense of community, learning practical life skills, nurturing educators, building self confidence, wide range of learning materials that satisfy children thirst for knowledge, respectful and blossoming friendships, my children continue to thrive in this positive environment. While my first child has graduated, she still has strong memories of the things she achieved while at Headland. My youngest started there since 18 months old and has transitioned from toddler to kinder room early this year and the process was well thought out and went really well. She is happy since the first week of enrolment and looks forward to school every day.

I’m really pleased with my experience at Headland Alma Rd and would definitely recommend it to other parents. One of the things that stands out about this center is how much they respect the children and understand their development. The environment is well-prepared, with educational materials that are designed for a purpose and follow authentic Montessori principles. Compared to other childcare centers I've tried before Headland Alma Rd, the difference is clear. Here, the focus is on early learning rather than just playing around. My daughter's ability to concentrate has improved a lot since she started here, she has become more independent and self-directed in her learning. She also shows greater respect for her environment and her peers, demonstrating empathy and cooperation and we appreciate how the center supports her in that. Headland Alma Rd is more than just a daycare; it's a place that really understands early learning and education. I’m grateful to have found such a center where my daughter can learn and grow in such a supportive environment.

My daughter has been attending Headland Montessori at Alma Road in St Kilda for two years and we couldn't be happier. The staff truly take children's well-being into consideration in everything they do. As a parent I am up to date with all activities and developments through regular meetings and a very convenient app. The Centre maintains high levels of cleanliness and the team have fostered a great sense of community that is above and beyond what you would find in a more mainstream chain of centres.
