Marc TownsendNo denying the incredible selection of comics, manga, and collectibles. Much of it seems to have haphazardly laid out as expansion was needed, causing things to be all over the place. If you're looking for something specific, be sure to ask one of the clerks. I had an issue as a customer that put me off, however. Now we all know some comic book fans can be "passionate" about their views and opinions. One such fan began to loudly argue a case for something and rapidly escalated to using profanities as the clerk goaded him on by asserting their own counter view. It was awkward. Then as I was checking out, I made a comment about how arbitrary the whole argument was from both sides. The clerk then wanted to argue their point with me, which I thought I was making clear with verbal and non-verbal cues that I didn't want to have happen. The clerk beside them seemed to understand and was pleasant but the one behind the register wouldn't let it go, right up until I opened the door to leave. My advice, if the store reads this, please advise your clerks to avoid this behavior. Also, if a customer is starting to get upset and use profanities, don't escalate them, just invite them to leave the store.
Cali KnowsGODZILLA LIVES! 🐲 this place has a great Godzilla vibe, tons of statues and figurines everywhere. Old school Godzilla VHS vibes in both rooms as the shop opened up at 10 am yesterday. Really friendly staff. Awesome variant covers : ratio rare books. Tons of current issues / high stock orders. Great backissue selection. Filled in a ton of missing filler issues I needed. Bummed I didn't get to spend more time in here. That being said I highly recommend and will return if I can !
