This dealer listed a Defender 90 (VIN: SALEW6EE2P2119476) as a "007 Edition." The decals looked wrong, so I asked for proof. The sales rep claimed he “verified” it was a 007 Edition but refused to provide any documentation, became argumentative, and started calling me from multiple phone numbers. I later obtained the official window sticker from my local Land Rover dealer — this is not a 007 Edition. A true 007 would have “Defender 007” door sill plates (not “V8”), blue brake calipers (not black), Carpathian Grey paint with satin finish (the only color offered), and proper 007 badging. Misrepresenting a vehicle’s trim is deceptive — and the unprofessional response was unacceptable. I’m sharing this so other buyers are aware and can avoid the same experience.
