Customer experiences
Having visited the Rooftops several times in the past, I was looking forward to returning after a few years away. Unfortunately, the experience fell well short of expectations. The food service was particularly underwhelming. When it was finally available, the food was served cold and lacked even basic offerings that one would typically expect — for example, there was no way to customize a classic Chicago-style hot dog. There was no cookie selection, which I used to speak highly of. Additionally, the setup of the serving area felt more like a temporary picnic arrangement than a permanent, well-managed hospitality space. The beverage options were equally disappointing. Alcoholic offerings were limited strictly to canned beverages, with no availability of basic spirits such as vodka, rum, or whiskey. While I wasn’t expecting a full bar, I did expect at least a minimal variety of mixed drink options. Furthermore, all beverage options contained carbonation, which may not suit all guests. The Rooftops were once considered a unique and luxurious way to experience a game — a blend of comfort, exclusivity, and elevated service. That atmosphere appears to have been replaced by something far less refined, yet significantly more expensive. What was once a premium game-day experience now feels like an overpriced picnic with very little value added. I hope to see meaningful improvements in the future that restore the Rooftops to the level of quality and service they were once known for.
Super fun experience! A great way to see the Cubs! Once you arrive, you just gave them your name that was on the list. It was unclear from the email but it was easy peasy. There are three floors to hang out on. The best view of the game was from the seats on the rooftop of course. On the third floor there was food. I was a little disappointed in the choices for food, but you had the basics at a baseball game. The server behind the buffet was very friendly and fun! There was a bar on each floor that offered can beers, soda, and wine. They do not offer hard liquor. Def a fun experience and a fun way to watch the game!
This was so fun! Had a great time, and awesome views. My only complaint is the food. I have food allergies and couldn't eat any of it. Would be nice to have some options!
Work outing event. Plenty of food and drink all included, both very tasty. Staff friendly and helpful. Always near by keeping the place near and tidy. Wish you could hear the audio on the TV screens. Obstructed view of the outfield. Could see home plate and infield well. First time experience not sure if I would pay myself to go back but is very enjoyable as a large group. Didn't feel crowded or couldn't move around.
