Nazim UddinWent here hoping to try out old 80s-style Bangladeshi-Chinese cuisine on our last night in Dhaka/Bangladesh on our visit after 35 years. Thai soup was good. Hard to get wrong. Tried the veg fried rice - not good. Lack pepper, salt or soy sauce. Try the egg fried rice maybe. The sweet and sour chicken was not very good. Lacked enough flavor. Tried some chili prawns which were good but not that nostalgic flavor. The dessert kheer ice cream was rock solid. Had to ask them to soften it in the microwave. Overall, service was adequate. Not very communicative or friendly. Atmosphere was fine as we were the only ones there for an early dinner. Food was mediocre. May try it one more time next time we visit.

Mahbub Rahman NafeeWent here for a wedding program. Things got off on the wrong foot from the start. There were 3 parking spaces available in front of the building. The guard said the spaces were reserved for the groom's cars (as there were two wedding programs being held that day). So they made us park in the alley beside, and in a very uncomfortable space right at the front of the road, where it meets the main road. Then just as we parked the car and came to the front door to enter, we saw a car parked in one of these spots, but upon asking the car was of a random guest, not the groom's car. The guard there started behaving rudely and refused to answer our questions. Very unprofessional behavior. The interior seems very run down. The A/Cs were semi-working. Food was okay. Service was a bit sub standard. We had to continuously request them to refill items. Overall, it seems like the place needs a big renovation and some learning in professionalism for its staff.
saif konockTo be honest I was disappointed. This is one of the oldest Chinese restaurants in Uttara. But food was average. Atmosphere was not that good. Should have been better. As they are charging high prices for each items. Menu is big enough. But don't understand why I need to give 10% service charge?
