The energy Morgan brings to CorePower is unmatched. Every class with her is fun, challenging, and uplifting. She's the best instructor and I look forward to coming to the studio because of her!
I don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt like I had to share this experience. I recently visited CorePower Yoga with a friend who was trying out a first-time class. She was genuinely interested in getting to know the gym and the yoga offerings, but from the moment we arrived, the staff was extremely unwelcoming and dismissive. During the class, my friend was having a hard time with some of the poses, so I quietly tried to help her understand what to do. Instead of offering any support or understanding, the instructor Anna Bar actually yelled at us through her microphone in front of the whole class. It was humiliating and completely uncalled for. It’s really disappointing—yoga is supposed to be about community, learning, and support, especially for newcomers. This experience was the complete opposite. My friend left feeling embarrassed and discouraged, and I don’t think either of us will be returning.
Recently went to Core Power for the first time with a few friends. The instructor, Anna, seemed friendly. However, a friend and I were helping each other out with the odd movements and not even 5 seconds later, the instructor ran over and told us to be quiet and that we were distracting the class. She said it through her microphone, which quite frankly we couldn't even hear what she was saying over the music. I'm not entirely sure how my friend and I quietly speaking for five seconds is disruptive, but it was certainly unnecessary.
Anna Bar…absolutely horrible instructor. The movements she had us doing made no sense and she had the music so loud you could not even hear what she was saying or what she was instructing us to do. It was my first time at a core power class and she was not showing us the movements at all. She then yelled at my two friends who were trying to help eachother with the movements, she yelled at them over the microphone because they were talking (very briefly) and everyone heard it. horrriblleeeee experience and i won’t return just because of anna.
