Yonge Street Animal Hospital

Client of Yonge Street Animal Hospital for many years. All four of our cats were always cared for with love and compassion. Recently, we said goodbye to our beloved family friend, Merlin. Merlin was 17 years and 5 months. We loved him dearly, and did something we would have never done before. We decided to say goodbye at home and made appointment for home visit. Our beloved Merlin was surrounded by all those who loved and cared for him in his safe and familiar environment with Mozart playing in the background and incense in the air. Dr Bastos, was wonderful, he gave us space to grieve and express our devotion to this amazing creature. Merlin, Mr. Merlin made me a better person. Thank you to all the wonderful staff who, over the past 29 years have made caring for and loving animals a joyful experiencing.

They were simply amazing! Our cat Twinkle was not feeling great this morning and they were able to squeeze us in right away. She had the entire batteries of tests and results in record time. Dr Eisen was extremely competent, compassionate, clear, professional and kind. The team was fabulous, they treated Twinkle with outmost care and were keenly listening to our concerns. They managed to get Twinkle medical record in the 20 min between I booked the appointment and arrived. Very impressed and absolutely delighted! They really went above and beyond. Twinkle already looks in better form after her first antibiotics.

Yonge Street Animal Hospital was incredibly considerate when I shared my dog’s condition and they helped get him seen right away. From reception, to technicians, to veterinary, the clinic is outgoing and has created a very welcoming environment. My dog Peanut is typically nervous in new environments, especially when he is being examined. Dr. Bastos and the team made Peanut as comfortable as possible. We were amazed that he did not exhibit any anxiety or fear and discomfort was minimal. This is how we knew we brought Peanut to the best possible clinic. Both my fiancée and I are incredibly grateful to the entire team for helping Peanut get back to his normal self. We are so happy to have a reliable and trustworthy veterinary clinic so close to home.
