I came in for a co-working tour and was bait and switched by VentureX. I was interested in a co-working membership and on their website they promote a 'Book a Tour' and get a free 'Day Pass' so I was excited to tour the space and try the VentureX experience. Sanya who showed me the tour said it would be okay for me to try it out. I unpacked my laptop and got ready to start working in the space and then Sanya abruptly came and told me that if I wanted to work in the co-working space, I would need to pay $30 for the day pass. I was shocked. She gave me verbal confirmation I could work there and the company has a free day pass offer on their site. Complete bait and switch and deceptive. She then pointed at the lobby couches and told me I could work from there. I was so shocked at how unwelcoming they were, not even a desk, but a couch! I went to another co-working space. I was fine to pay the day pass, but the way they treated me was so poor that I didn't feel welcomed. As for the space itself, it's nice, but small. It can definitely be a good workplace for someone who prefers a quieter and less lively space. It wasn't busy. Customer service definitely has room for improvement.

Great space! Clean, bright, welcoming and conducive to our brainstorming sessions. We’ve also brought clients here. We absolutely love the “industrial chic” design. Nothing stuffy about this space! The owner is very approachable as are the community coordinators. Highly recommend VentureX Richmond Hill.
