This has been long due since 2022 and I am sharing my terrible experience on how I was dealt with when applying for mortgage. I submitted all my documents prior and applied for mortgage when the prime rate was at 3.7%. Each time I contacted Devin, he replied by saying everything is approved and its close to the prime rate. Never mentioned the rate to me. He kept sliding away from answering the rate. Then once the house was finalized, I got back to him about the rate and he again asked for further documents. At one point I found the dealing with Devin terribly disappointing as I had to send the same documents over and over. He never went through the documents, only was forwarding the documents that I send to the Bank Mortgage broker. He couldn't even answer the simple questions and in one email he and the Scotia broker was laughing about how this is a new record with over 100 documents being send, not a single empathy for my stress that they were sending me through. After all the bad discussion, I was again approved the rate based on the then prime rate of 4.7. When I asked him about that he said that is the best rate available and there was no other choice for me as he already had pulled mine and my wife's credit history more than once. Each month I am paying over 150 dollars for the next five years as he deceived me and left me with no other choice. I would put 0 rating if that was an option.
