We hired Marcello from Your Neighborhood Handyman to demolish and rebuild our front and side porch, as well as replace and paint some adjacent siding. From the start, communication was excellent. Marcello was friendly, responsive, and kept us updated every step of the way. He handled all the necessary permits and inspections, which made the process smooth and stress-free. The work was completed on time and on budget, and the craftsmanship is top-notch. Everything looks clean, sturdy, and professionally finished. We’re really happy with how everything turned out and will definitely be using Marcello again for future projects.

If I could give Marcelo a 100 stars I would. Incredible experience across the board. Marcelo came on a Wednesday to assess a few carpentry jobs. With his skilled eye he could identify more issues that I would of missed all together to only cause future grief. He sent a master carpenter the next day to tackle the jobs. First I had paid 30K for a deck build from Sturdy homes Improvement which was a disaster with several issues. The deck is under warranty but the contractor ran off to Texas. To no avail was I able to have the original contractor fix his mistakes. Marcelo really went above and beyond to make sure his carpenter not only fixed all the errors I showed to him, he also fixed anything that he knew would be a problem in the future. I was beyond impressed with the finished work and for Marcelo's insight as once shown it was clear to me we were going to have safety issues in the future if Marcelo didn't intervene to correct the hidden issues. In addition, amazing carpentry work on a sentimental greenhouse bringing it to a full restoration. The greenhouse is now very sturdy structurally with Will's precision carpentry skills. In addition, on the same day we noticed a rotted board at our bulkhead entrance, Will replaced the board ensuring safety. Will worked neatly, with expert skills for 8 hours finishing all jobs in a day. The price was beyond reasonable for all the work completed, actually less than we had anticipated. We cannot thank you enough Marcelo, and Will we are beyond happy with your professionalism and quality workmanship.

Marcelo from Your Neighborhood Handyman did excellent work on a relatively small bathroom project that other home contractors wouldn’t take. The old fan wasn’t clearing steam properly, so he assessed the cause, helped plan and install a new exhaust fan, coordinated with an electrician, ventilation, and had a professional patch and paint the walls. The bathroom now looks clean and fresh, and the new fan works perfectly while blending in seamlessly with the house. The solution he recommended was both effective and cost-effective. He was very professional, reliable, and honest—easy to work with and clearly takes pride in doing things the right way. Everyone he brought in was extremely skilled, courteous, and considerate—even taking the time to ask if they should remove their shoes in the house. I really appreciated how smoothly he managed the project and explained every step along the way. I found him through Google reviews and am so glad I did. I’ll definitely hire him again in the future.
