If you have a problem pup, Your Pro Dog Trainer is the answer! Rebecca and her team are amazing. We rescued a Chihuahua that was found wandering in our neighborhood for over 3 weeks. While she’s a very sweet & loving dog, she had separation anxiety issues, constantly jumping & barking, and occasionally displayed aggressive behavior. She never bit anyone, but I didn’t want that to ever happen. After 6 weeks with Rebecca and her team, our little Squirt was transformed into a calmer and more obedient pup. She no longer turns into a Tasmanian devil when we leave her home in her pen and now follows my commands to sit, stay, etc. She visited the veterinarian today and did not display the aggressive behavior like she did before her training session. She is a completely different dog. In addition to having exceptional expertise in dealing with dog behavior problems, Rebecca and her team truly care about your pet. She saw the good and loving side of our little Squirt. They knew we didn’t want to give up on our pup and they were all in on Team Squirt! Rebecca provides you with videos & photos of your dog’s progress. She is so good about answering any questions you may have during the training process and provides you with steps to follow for handling your dog for specific events when you bring them home (e.g. going to the vet appointments; trips to the groomer; etc.). The best experience I could’ve had with a professional dog trainer. I reached out for services regarding my basset who enjoys socks a little too much. Rebecca from their team was able to easily explain the root cause of his aggression and give us a few tips and tricks on how to navigate it. She gave us her time in an unrushed and patient manner. Addressed all of our questions and was very knowledgeable in all aspects of the training session. My only regret is having waited so long to reach out. Can’t recommend enough.

We did a lot of research before buying a board and train package here, especially for our dog who has a lot of anxiety/reactivity. Key factors for us were that the owner is a canine behaviorist, flexibility to split use of package time, positive reinforcement training only, and option to have them pick up and drop off. We had a great experience with everyone at YPDT - and felt confident that our dogs were in great hands (clean and safe environment with knowledgeable staff) during their stays while we were traveling. They will send you videos and text updates during their stay. Staff are also super flexible and willing to work on goals that you set. Our dogs love this place.

When we realized our 3 month old puppy Moose wasn’t ready for a week long trip in Yosemite, we were thankful to find Your Pro Dog Trainer and their board and train program. They answered all of our questions and made us feel at ease in making the decision to leave our new puppy with them. They sent regular updates and photos during his stay. We were given homework to continue his training at home. Upon returning home, we quickly realized our pup was much more focused and receptive to following our lead. He has also shown increased socialization skills with other dogs and people. Your Pro Dog Trainer even followed up with us regarding our pup’s transition upon returning home. I highly recommend them.
