Today I went in the day of farmers market and I passed by to get a quick answer for a question I had about my hair type. Yousef was dealing with only one customer. It was pretty empty. So I went to front desk as there salon is open, no door so I went in and the host was nice and told me that this question is for yousef and walked me to him. He was very rude, he pretended I was not even there. I drove all the way from Michigan and crossed the border because I wanted to explore my options in Windsor but I felt very disrespected and disregarded. In my head I said, well I don’t even know who he is but that kind of customer service will make anyone who walks in, walk away. That’s the truth and I’m only writing this review because I did feel very small when I wanted to make an appointment and get his opinion on my hair type. He just proceeded to ignore me. Anyhoo I found this place called 2percent studio salon and oh my god they are Arabic and they are the best! I’m glad I walked out of there. They are boujie but they are kind. This guy “yousef was not only dim and rude but he had no reason to have ego when he only had one chair and he was doing a hairstyle for a woman that had short hair. Stay humble yousef. Me and my American dollars left to 2percent hair salon. August 23 2025 😉 that was me and once again humble yourself. You’re a grown man. Have respect when you are a business owner.

Youssef and his staff will ensure you have a good experience. I communicated exactly what I want and they deliver. If you’re looking for a certain look or service, they will do it when you communicate what you’re looking for. This has been my go to spot for 12 years

I had gone here a long time ago thought I'd try the place again. I went yesterday as I had time, I opened the door and it looked closed so I asked the lady if she was open. She says she's yes but she's waiting for a client, doesn't let me say anything before repeating herself. So if I could not ask if or when she would have time for a walk in, to my understanding this place is supposed to welcome, I decided not to go back and went elsewhere.
