Customer experiences
I just went with my wife. Great Beer and Whiskey. There's popcorn available on the spot but no restaurant. I understand though that they whish to eventually add a menu. On the site, you can by beer and whiskey. They also have seasonnal offerings. It's very unfortunate that regulations in Canada prohibit mail transportation and export of alcohol. Here's more info about the company: Yukon Brewing Company is a craft brewery established in 1997 by two friends in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory, Canada, originating from a shared vision during a canoe trip to produce high-quality beer inspired by local ingredients and brewing traditions. The company is located in Whitehorse, where it operates a tasting room and offers tours, focusing on award-winning craft beers such as Daylight Blonde Ale, Yukon Gold English Pale Ale, Spruce Tip Ale, and various India Pale Ales (IPAs), alongside spiked seltzers. Two Brewers is the whisky division of Yukon Brewing, launched in 2009 when the brewery acquired a still to produce Yukon Single Malt Whisky, thereby extending its craft brewing expertise into distillation. Based in Whitehorse adjacent to the Yukon River, Two Brewers specializes in small-batch single malt whiskies, categorized into four styles: Classic (elegant barley and oak flavors), Peated (incorporating peat-smoked barley), Special Finishes (emphasizing barrel maturation), and Innovative (exploring unconventional flavor profiles). The production process draws on brewing techniques to create complex, non-replicable releases, with notable achievements including Canadian Single Malt of the Year at Jim Murray's Whisky Bible in 2023 and multiple Artisan Distiller of the Year awards at the Canadian Whisky Awards.
we were recently in the Yukon and did a brewery tour with Blair. We had such a good time and we’re able to ask any questions. It was fantastic service. The tour was part of a fundraiser for the kidney foundation. We were also lucky to get some merchandise and glasses and gin. We especially love the classic whiskey (which was out of stock)the gin and many of the great beers Thanks for a wonderful experience.
Read about this place prior to driving to Whitehorse to pick up my daughter from Yukon University. Visited about 30 minutes prior to them closing, and were disappointed that we missed out on grabbing a flight as the guy there seemed to just maybe want to sell us some beer, Two Brewers whisky and some glasses. Experience was disappointing but the beer and whisky is great. If I’m back in Whitehorse again, I’ll stop by and try for a flight again.
This is a must see. This little craft brewery and distillery has won many national and international awards. You must arrange for a tour! Seeing exactly how beer is made from malting to brewing and canning will give you a greater appreciation for your favorite brewski. Seeing how you can distill award winning whisky on this small location is impressive. Don't forget to bring cold cuts to have with the flavored beer sample flights after.
