Valentyn StadnytskyiI have discovered translational stages by Zaber Technologies several years ago. I was updating outdates delay line on a femtosecond time resolved spectrometer. I got 75cm long screw high load driven linear stage. I was blown away that it could move up to 70 cm per second and carry more than 200 lb. I think it was one of LRT stages. It has ~150um accuracy and few um repeatability. Which translates into few dozen femtosecond. This was fantastic for the apparatus I was working with. Recently, I got a 1-meter long X-Y gantry and with new accuracy lookup table Zaber was able to go from 925um accuracy to 60um! Fantastic results. Very happy with product. Very happy with customer and engineering support. And they have API for Python, LabView and others.... What else do you need? :) I do not even look at Newport or Thorlabs anymore. Their stages are too expensive.
