I was knocked unconscious in a car wreck in October 2023 while stopped at a red light. My car and the car that hit me were both totaled. Despite wearing my seatbelt, I woke up in the back of my hatchback, with only my feet tangled in the belt and my arm trapped between the back seats. I barely remember the impact. I spent the next 12 hours in a crowded ER and got excellent news: it was only minor injuries and a concussion. I went home the next morning. My uncle, a retired lawyer, specifically referred me to Burg Simpson because of their reputation for being thorough in their work and good with clients. My recovery was a very long process despite only having non-surgical injuries that could be treated with physical therapy. Some weeks were just stacks of tests and doctor's appointments. And all of this after the confusion of hitting my head. The value of having someone I'd send paperwork to, and they could track down so much information! It was impressive. I still have no idea how they sorted everything out, but I was given updates on everything throughout the process. Everyone was very kind. The staff I worked with the most were Rachel Denning, Alta, and Ed Parra. While I really appreciate all the hard work, they were also incredible. I know they are so busy, but they always stopped to ask if I felt okay. They managed so many bills for me, straight away. It really made things simple. And they always made sure i knew exactly what was being paid, when and how. They really utilized email, text and phone very well. I had many questions about my car insurance since the other driver had minimum coverage. I was so worried that mine wouldn't even cover my expenses. I had just moved and changed insurance over the weekend, I didn't even know which insurance to file with! They answered so many questions that were specific to my needs. They didn't just give me superficial information. Overall, the results far exceeded my expectations. But, in reality, the best value over the last 18 months has been the customer service, care, and peace of mind that they were taking care of so much stuff that I didn't have to worry. My uncle seriously didn't give them the credit they deserved. I hope nobody has to read this review because they are going through the same endless nightmare. But let's be honest, this is Arizona, and I was lucky. Unfortunately, most people need much more care after a wreck. If you are ever in need, know that you, your family, or your friends will be cared for during their whole recovery.
