Would be better off in the hands of the original land stewards, the Algonquin/Mohawk peoples. The housing is not even good, it does not come close to the value that the Asinabka National Indigenous Centre could have held. Excellent example of modern colonialism. Dr. and Chief William Commanda made a revolutionary plan consisting of freeing the Chaudière Falls, creating a city park and historic interpretive center, building a peace building meeting site, and building an aboriginal center on this sacred land.
