This shop has a large parking space and a good collection at cheaper prices, especially shoes and slippers, which are very affordable. However, avoid visiting on Sundays, as it gets as crowded as a market. For a more peaceful shopping experience, it's better to visit on weekdays, especially Fridays.

This isn’t a review of Zudio (which is perfectly fine). This is a review of a doorman. Or more precisely, a moment. I went to the Lakshmi Mills complex on a Sunday—bike, helmet, ₹15 entry fee. The place itself is already doing everything right: luxury without shouting, greenery without pretence, the rare Indian public space that feels calm rather than crowded. A genuinely world-class environment. I left for a bit and came back later the same day. Now remember—Sunday before Republic Day. Bikes streaming in by the hundreds. Chaos waiting to happen. And then something quietly miraculous occurred. The lady at the entrance looked at me and said, “Didn’t you come in the morning?” I said yes. She smiled and said, “You’ve already paid. You can go in.” That’s it. No receipt. No argument. No suspicion. No rulebook theatrics. I saved ₹15. But what I gained was disproportionate joy. Because this wasn’t about money. It was about recognition. About being seen. About trust in a system that usually assumes the opposite. Behavioural economics will tell you that small, unexpected gestures create far more loyalty than grand, expensive ones—and this was a masterclass. That lady is not just a doorman. She is the brand ambassador of the entire complex. The building gave me luxury. She gave me a story. And stories are what people remember. God, as always, was in the small details.
