Customer experiences
Sunday plans = sorted. The Sunday Sharer here is an absolute steal — generous portions, loads of variety, and perfect for that classic British Sunday mindset of “let’s order loads and deal with the consequences later.” Ideal for families, mates, or anyone who believes sharing food is the real love language. The food is solid and comforting, with bold Caribbean flavours and hearty plates that do exactly what a Sunday meal should — make you happy and slightly immobile. For the price point, it’s excellent value, especially when sharing. What really lifts the experience is the vibe — relaxed, upbeat, feel-good energy all round. The staff are genuinely friendly and helpful too, striking that rare balance of being attentive without hovering like you’re about to nick the cutlery. Now, the reason this stays at 4 stars: the cocktails. They look absolutely gorgeous — full marks for presentation — but flavour-wise they could use a bit more punch. Less Insta glam, more Caribbean kick, please. All in all, a great spot for an easy, sociable Sunday meal with good food, good energy, and great value. As someone who spends a fair bit of time thinking about food (possibly too much — Your Food Fantasy will vouch for that), the Sunday Sharer alone makes this worth the visit. Definitely coming back.
It was a lovely afternoon. We went out for a date night and had the best time! Amazing and very kind service from Seb alongside incredible food! Would recommend!! Seb really insured we had the best bottomless brunch and delivered friendly and warm customer experience!
This was our 1st time eating in a Caribbean restaurant and we were not disappointed. The menu was explained to us as too what was spicy and what was not. I went for the spicy mutton which as described as between a jalfrezi and a madras however the hotness does not linger so on the safe side I also had a mixed bean which was cold and I was pleasantly surprised it was delicious. The staff were also friendly and polite. I really do recommend this restaurant and I hope to go back on my next visit from Scotland.
I had the best experience at turtle bay, due to the amazing girls Mya, Meena and Elya! The drinks were 10/10 as always, with great recommendations from Mya. I had the jerk chicken with garlic and mac and cheese and the ginger pudding, so good!! I can’t wait to come back here, and thank you girls for making my evening so special!!
